PrecisionCalibrationSystem
• 12 rotors meter the spreading material into the airflow directly above the middle part of the boom.

The HORSCH Leeb Xeric FS features the PrecisionCalibrationSystem (PCS), a centralized metering unit that ensures precise fertilizer distribution through continuous weighing and calibration. By utilizing gravity-fed metering rotors and low-pressure air, the system minimizes wear and energy consumption while remaining compatible with diverse materials. This design supports advanced section control, curve compensation, and variable-rate application, all housed in a user-friendly layout that simplifies maintenance via a safe, accessible platform.

The HORSCH kingpin steering system provides high stability and precise track-following, utilizing a waisted frame to achieve 28° steering angles even with large, soil-protecting tires. Featuring a unique, sensor-free gyroscope design, the system offers selectable steering modes to minimize crop damage during tight turns and automatically centers during high-speed field work or road transport. This allows for extreme maneuverability and manual joystick overrides without the need for frequent calibration.
When the pump is running, a mixture circulates continuously in the boom (top) so that it is immediately available at the nozzle when spraying (bottom).

The HORSCH Leeb Xeric boom utilizes a parallelogram suspension and the BoomControl system to maintain stability at high speeds and in hilly terrain. Available in widths up to 48 m, the patented active suspension prevents dipping during turns, while overload protection and wear-resistant PE tubes ensure safe, efficient fertilizer transport. Additionally, offset Hardox deflector plates provide long-term durability and optimal distribution across the entire working width.

Active boom control system to maintain the precise, lowest possible working height even at high driving speeds in flat or slightly hilly terrain. The safe and stable boom control with a target area spacing of 150 cm creates good conditions for an exact cross distribution. The boom continuously adapts to the terrain by means of two ultrasonic sensors and is completely decoupled from the vehicle. No compromise between dampened and freely suspended boom.

BoomControl Pro

Equipped with four or six ultrasonic sensors, BoomControl Pro can both angle the boom parallelly and rotate it at the middle section to better adapt the boom control to uneven and slightly hilly terrain. This version of active boom control allows for maintaining, the precise, lowest possible working height even better at high driving speeds. The safe and stable boom control with a target area spacing of 150 cm creates optimum conditions for minimal drift. Active adjustment of the boom that is completely decoupled from the vehicle by means of the height control of the middle section.

PrecisionSpread Pro is a separate activation for curve compensation for fertiliser application with the HORSCH Leeb Xeric. This allows for increasing the application rates on the outer sides of curves specifically via the rotors of the PrecisionCalibrationSystem when cornering. At the same time, the application rate is reduced by decreasing the speed of the rotors assigned to the sections on the inside of the curve. This ensures that PrecisionSpread Pro provides a homogeneous supply of the population even when cornering and along contours in the terrain.

Powerful, focused LED headlights provide optimum illumination across the entire spread pattern for increased safety and efficiency during night operations. Each boom side features adjustable spotlights in white or blue to monitor distribution, complemented by an automatic dimming function to prevent blinding others on headlands. For larger boom widths or challenging terrain, the system can be expanded to four headlights with optional apron and rear lighting to maximize visibility and reduce operator fatigue.

This ensures that, depending on the filling level of the tank, the optimal contact area of the tyre is always achieved during road transport or in field mode so that no compromise between stability and soil protection has to be made. The possibilities of modern tyre technologies are optimally utilised.
